  • Thoughtful detailing is what separates a well-designed home from a finished one. We design for longevity, not for the moment. The details, the materiality, the spatial decisions, each one made with the long term in mind so the home feels as considered in ten years as it does today.

  • Good design doesn’t happen in isolation. We work alongside a trusted network of builders, craftspeople and consultants, and bring our clients into that conversation at every stage. Open communication and mutual respect run through every project we take on.

Seau Studio was founded by Emily in 2017. At the core of her approach is a genuine curiosity about how people live, the rhythms, routines and relationships that make a house feel like a home. This is matched by careful attention to detail and a belief that good design should be both beautiful and deeply functional.

A deep interest in European art, culture and craftsmanship runs through Emily’s work, in the way she thinks about materials, detail, and how places are put together. This, combined with an appreciation for the Australian way of living, shapes every project Emily takes on. Each client brief is treated as an opportunity to create something genuinely considered and personal.
